A small plastic bag with the name of a local auto parts dealer showed up on my door yesterday. I almost threw it away, assuming it was some sort of ad, but then there appeared to be something more than paper in the bag. In my neighborhood, there is some confusion between my street which is a left turn off the main entrance road and the other which is a right turn (they are not clearly marked). So, I opened the package to see if they delivered some parts to the wrong address and inside was a note from Jah with the latest "Master Edition" CD, number 8. If you write Jah a nice little email and can write a check or money order, maybe he'll send you a copy. It'll be worth it.

HOKE shared a gig with my band "9 on Bali" at Metro Coffeehouse. It was a cool venue with a good sized and attentive crowd. HOKE did an excellent job of setting the mood drawing people in from an outdoor show that had just finished down the street. That was a good gig.

House of Knotty Effects has just released its debut CD "Master Edition 4," a collection of ambient & experimental electronic works. Fans of the Orb, Brian Eno's "Nerve Net," and Steve Roach's latter work should all find something to enjoy here. Check out the song samples on the discography page.
